“शुचौ देशे प्रतिष्ठाप्य स्थिरमासनमात्मन: | नात्युच्छ्रितं नातिनीचं चैलाजिनकुशोत्तरम् ||”

The 11th shloka from the 6th chapter of Bhagavad Geeta translates to, “To practice Yoga, one should make an āsan (seat) in a sanctified place, by placing kuśh grass, deer skin, and a cloth, one over the other. The āsan should be neither too high nor too low.” Sheep wool is considered as an alternative to the deer skin mentioned in the shloka. As the shloka suggests, for effective yoga and achieving sanctity of mind, it is of utmost importance to choose your āsan (seat) wisely. The great Greek physician Hippocrates advised the use of sheep wool for the fast recovery of patients. Sheep wool has natural healing properties, which are reported by various studies.

The same goes when it comes to sleep. Sleep is nothing but an extended meditation. It is a must that you choose your mattress wisely. The wool that comes out of baby lamb is extra soft and has immense benefits. Our mattress, which is an astonishing combination of baby lamb wool, natural fabric, and herbal binding elements, is the best tool for achieving a sound sleep.
